truly custom and sustainable.       lighting design . build

Dane's custom fixtures, and shades,  reflect her passion for great design.
She pride's herself on capturing the perfect balance between ambient and task
driven lighting.
Prior to the design process she discusses setting, style and task of each fixture.
CAD drawings and sample treatments are provided for review and approval,
this way, both client and Dane are always on the 'same page. Each piece is
crafted with the client’s wishes in mind.
No Cookie Cutter designs like other
lighting manufacturers - they are truly Custom - f
rom shape and size, to
custom treatments and designer fabrics, each is carefully crafted -
and many cost the same as 'off the shelf' fixtures.

Dane has developed environmentally friendly pieces - using sustainable
and ‘GREEN’ materials such as 100% cotton, silk, Bamboo, natural fibers,
water based and 100% Non-toxic medium,s and glazing.
the procees
a discussion is initiated about  space, personality and task. The next step
is to develop a workable design and color palette - this leads to a set of
two and three dimensional renderings. Renderings are provided in
conjunction with sample treatments, color and texture swatches.
Electrical and technical drawings are also provided to help identify the
placement, lamp type and wattage of each fixture. Because this is a
Design/Build process -
in some cases patterns, templates and even prototypes may be created
"I believe lighting should reflect the personality of the
entire space, and much like a good painting,
.... add character, and tell a story about the occupants."
